The Navigation District is home to two recreational marinas. South Bay Marina is our newest marina, located several blocks east of the Port next to a public boat launch. South Bay Marina holds a total of 41 boat slips, 17 open and 24 covered slips with electric lifts. The Marina is a gated facility with a harbor-side fuel depot.

Turning Basin #3 in the Port harbor is the site of an additional 15 open boat slips. This marina is especially scenic within view of the shrimp fleet coming and going, the Bay to the south and undisturbed wetlands to the west. The marina is also adjacent to Bayside RV Park, a favorite destination for snowbirds and visitors to Palacios.
